And

Professor Tardi Suherman was a good
teacher, but a rather strange man in many ways. Our class met right after
lunch, and Professor Tardi was habitually late. Each day we would watch the
clock carefully, hoping he would no reach the class in time, for we were
required to wait only twenty minutes for any teacher, even a full professor
like Mr. Tardi Suherman. One day, although Professor Tardi’s hat laid on his
chair, we waited the required period of time and then all marched out in a bunch at exactly twenty minutes after one.
The next day, Professor Tardi Suherman was
punctual, reaching class at exactly one o’clock. But he seemed quite disturbed
by our action the previous day.
“Remember this,” he said.”Whenever my
hat is on my chair, that is exactly the same as if I were there.” The next day
Professor Tardi chanced to be late again. As he approached the classroom,
however, he saw no students present. He entered and looked around the class and
found the student’s hats lying on their chairs.
Now, let's thinking about it.
